A phased growth vision for your data center of the future
Phase1
Hyperscale data center with 150 MW capacity
Power Planning & Operations
Technical Features
Location
Reliable operation based on 100MW of IT load and 150MW of water capacity, maximizing energy efficiency
with a PUE of 1.3 or less. 5G-based real-time monitoring and advanced cooling technology enhance operational reliability
and cost efficiency, while proximity to the main power grid and Gyeongsan Substation and excellent transportation
industrial complex connectivity provide an optimal infrastructure environment.
Phase 2
Expandable Sites Technological advancements Industry-academia collaboration
We will build a data center valley by securing an additional 300,000 pyeong of land and establish a stable energy infrastructure by introducing renewable energy such as hydrogen fuel cells, ESS, and bio-oil. Based on close cooperation with Daegu University, we will promote a collaborative program with educational institutions to train data center operation personnel in the Middle East. This will help us produce world-class professionals and strengthen our role as a talent hub for the international data center industry.
Phase 3
Renewable Energy Technology and RE100 Goals
Technology Convergence RE100 Goals
AI Daegu Data Center (AI DDC) is promoting the creation of a Data Center Valley to realize the ultimate RE100 goal.
To this end, we are collaborating with KEPCO to build a new energy design and introduce eco-friendly energy infrastructure that minimizes carbon emissions. We utilize hydrogen fuel cells and energy storage systems (ESS) to store and supply power reliably, and maximize cooling efficiency through RacK cooling technology and hot zone management systems.
We also introduce a Net Zero Waste operating model, continue to expand the use of renewable energy, and lead the transition to a sustainable, eco-friendly data center.
