Steve Kim, a human network specialist bridging public service and business leadership.

I have had a varied career in both public service and the private sector. 

Whether it has been at the forefront of policy and thinking for my country, or at the helm of a business and charting its direction in a competitive market , it has all been invaluable to me. 

If there's one thing I've learned along the way, it's that people, trust, and a sustainable vision are at the center of all change. 

I studied political science at Seoul National University and later completed a PhD program in international politics at Princeton University (USA) and the University of Leeds (UK), where I developed a more three-dimensional view of the world. 

My studies and experiences in both theory and practice have made me think about what insights we need in the globalized world. 

At the Cheong Wa Dae, I worked as a policy research assistant, public affairs assistant, and administrator in the Office of the Chief of Staff, where I realized the complexity and weight of running a country. 

Creating, communicating, and coordinating policy was always a tense and responsible job, but the pride of serving the country was a great motivator. 

I then moved into the private sector and took on corporate management roles in a variety of industries, including construction, real estate, and resource development, which challenged me to think about leadership at a different level. 

The market is harsh, but I believe that if you can see where you're headed and stay steadfast, you have the answers. 

I have always prioritized people-centered management and partnerships based on trust. 

Now I am focusing on a new challenge: building digital infrastructure centered on data centers. 

It's more than just a private business, it's about co-designing the future industrial ecosystem of the country and region. 

We will work with various domestic and international partners to create a sustainable model. 

In the future, I will continue to be flexible, unwavering in the face of change, people-centered, and trust-based, and move toward a better future.
